Privacy Policy
Effective: 12 October 2026
This policy explains how we process your personal data when you use renestaging.com and order the René virtual staging service. We follow Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because the law does not require one. Send any questions to mail@renestaging.com.
2. What data we process
- Contact details: name, email, phone, and your company or agency name if relevant.
- Order details: number of photos, chosen furniture styles, notes for the brief, the quote and your acceptance of it.
- Property photos you upload. They may contain personal data (people, family photos, documents, licence plates). Please remove these before uploading, or let us know.
- Billing details: name or business name, address, company and tax IDs.
- Payment details: when you pay our invoice by bank transfer, we see the payer's name, account number (IBAN) and amount so we can match the payment to the invoice. We do not accept card payments.
- Technical data: IP address and basic browser information logged automatically by our web host.
3. Why we process it, and on what legal basis

We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with processors we need to provide the service:
- Tally (Tally BV, Belgium) for the order form and photo uploads,
- Vercel Inc. (USA) for website hosting,
- Make (Celonis s.r.o., Czech Republic) for order automation,
- Google (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland) for Google Workspace: email via Gmail and storing photos and documents on Google Drive,
- our external accountant, and public authorities where the law requires it.
We never sell your data.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Some providers (such as Vercel and Google) may process data in the USA. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision or by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. How long we keep it
- Photos (originals and results): 90 days after delivery, then deleted. If you consented to portfolio use, we keep the examples until you withdraw consent.
- Order data and correspondence: for the duration of the contract and then up to 3 years in case of complaints or claims.
- Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as Slovak accounting law requires.
- Hosting logs: per the provider's settings, usually a few days.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and get a copy,
- correct inaccurate data,
- have your data erased,
- restrict processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing before withdrawal).

If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, www.dataprotection.gov.sk.
8. Cookies
The site uses only strictly necessary cookies needed for it to work. The Tally form may set its own necessary cookies when you submit an order. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with its effective date at the top.
