Terms and Conditions

1. Who we are

The René virtual staging service is operated by:

("we" or "the provider"). The customer is the person who orders the service from us ("you" or "the customer"). If you order as a business (for example, a real estate agency), these terms apply to you except for the provisions that apply only to consumers.

2. The service

From photos of empty or furnished rooms that you send us, we digitally create furnished visualisations ("final images"). We confirm scope, price and delivery time in a quote.

The final images are illustrative. We do not prepare technical or design documentation for properties or real estate projects, so the images must not be used as a basis for construction, design or other technical decisions.

3. Ordering and the contract

  1. You send us your photos and chosen furniture styles through the form on the website. Submitting the form is an enquiry, not a binding order.
  2. Based on your enquiry, we email you a quote with the price and delivery time.
  3. The contract is formed when you accept the quote by replying to our email.
  4. If photos are not suitable for processing (low quality, unusable angle, etc.), we will contact you before quoting or during the work. You can send new photos or drop the order; you do not pay for unprocessed photos.

4. Price and payment

  1. The price is the one in the accepted quote, in euros including VAT.
  2. Once you approve the previews (section 5), we email you an invoice. You pay it by bank transfer within 14 days of its issue.
  3. If payment is late, we may charge statutory late-payment interest.

5. Previews and delivery

  1. Within the time stated in the quote, we email you watermarked previews of the edited images.
  2. Within 7 days of receiving the previews, you can have them revised once for free (details in section 6) or approve them. If we don't hear from you within that time, the previews are treated as approved.
  3. We send the final images in full resolution and without watermarks by email or download link once your payment reaches our account.
  4. The service is fulfilled when the final images are delivered.
  5. You may not use the watermarked previews for any purpose other than reviewing them.

6. Revisions and complaints

  1. The price includes one round of free revisions per image if requested within 7 days of receiving the previews. A revision is a change within the original brief (for example, a different piece of furniture or colour); a change of style or the whole brief is a new order.
  2. If the result does not match your order, email mail@renestaging.com describing the issue. We will handle the complaint without undue delay and within 30 days at most, by correcting the images or refunding the price.

7. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

  1. As a consumer, you may withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason within 14 days of its conclusion, by emailing mail@renestaging.com.
  2. If you ask us to start the service before that period ends and expressly confirm that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed, that right ends when we deliver the final images. You give this consent when you accept the quote (the consent wording is part of the quote).
  3. If you withdraw after we have started but before we finish, you pay only a proportionate part of the price for work already done.

8. Your photos and rights to them

  1. You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to the photos you send us (for example, you took them, or you have the photographer's and property owner's permission).
  2. We use your photos only to fulfil your order. We show them in our portfolio only with your consent.
  3. You are responsible for third-party claims arising from a breach of this section.

9. Use of the final images

  1. Once the price is paid, we grant you a non-exclusive licence, unlimited in time and territory, to use the final images to promote, sell or rent the property concerned, in any medium.
  2. You may not resell the final images or offer them as your own virtual staging service.
  3. The final images are visualisations, not the actual state of the property. We recommend labelling them as "virtually staged" in listings and not using them to mislead buyers or tenants (for example, by hiding defects). You are responsible for how you use them in listings.

10. Liability

  1. We are responsible for providing the service properly and in the agreed scope.
  2. Towards business customers, our total liability is limited to the price paid for the relevant order, and we are not liable for lost profit. This limit does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, nor to consumers where the law does not allow it.

11. Privacy

How we process your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Disputes

  1. Send complaints to mail@renestaging.com.
  2. If you are a consumer and are not satisfied with how we handled your complaint, you can turn to an alternative dispute resolution body, in particular the Slovak Trade Inspection (www.soi.sk), which also supervises compliance with these terms.

13. Final provisions

  1. These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic, in particular the Civil Code, the Commercial Code and Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on Consumer Protection. Consumers keep any protection given to them by the law of their country of residence.
  2. We may change these terms. Each order is governed by the version in force when it was placed.
